Aethyr Research Joins NVIDIA Inception Program to Advance Sovereign AI Infrastructure

Utah-based startup developing post-quantum agent operating system gains access to NVIDIA technology, expertise, and go-to-market resources

SALT LAKE CITY, UT — April 29, 2026 — Aethyr Research LLC, a sovereign AI infrastructure company developing a distributed agent operating system with post-quantum cryptography, today announced its acceptance into the NVIDIA Inception Program. Inception is NVIDIA's accelerator for startups revolutionizing industries with technology advancements, and provides Aethyr with access to NVIDIA technology, technical expertise, go-to-market support, and the broader Inception network of more than 20,000 member companies worldwide.

Aethyr is building AIOS, a distributed operating system for autonomous AI agents that combines hyperdimensional cognitive state, post-quantum cryptographic identity, and cross-architecture agent migration. The company's core transport protocol, AWP (Adaptive Wire Protocol), enables agents to securely establish encrypted sessions and migrate across heterogeneous compute substrates, from microcontroller-class edge devices to datacenter GPUs.

Recent benchmarks on reference edge hardware demonstrate 2.1-second cold boot to a post-quantum encrypted session, ML-KEM-768 key generation in 9.6 milliseconds, and 341-millisecond agent migration across a three-hop network circuit. The architecture is the subject of four provisional patents filed to date, with the AWP filing covering 23 claims spanning identity-aware transport, post-quantum key exchange, ring-cast auction mechanisms, and bounded-boot edge attestation.

"NVIDIA Inception Program accelerates exactly the directions Aethyr is already moving," said R. Demetri Vallejos, Co-Founder, CEO, and Chief AI Officer of Aethyr Research. "Our roadmap places AIOS natively on NVIDIA's edge-to-datacenter continuum, from Jetson at the edge through DGX in the datacenter. Inception accelerates the technical and commercial integration of that vision."

The company's near-term focus includes porting AWP-native edge nodes from ESP32-S3 microcontrollers to NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano, with a forward path to Jetson Thor. Integration thesis work is underway across NVIDIA's Holoscan SDK for real-time edge AI workloads and Morpheus framework for cybersecurity agent pipelines.

"Sovereign AI infrastructure requires three things at once: cryptographic verifiability, hardware portability, and operational autonomy," Vallejos added. "The NVIDIA Inception Program gives us the relationships and resources to build that proof on the hardware platform that the defense, energy, and critical infrastructure markets are already standardizing on."

Aethyr is currently engaged in federal opportunity pursuits including the CDAO Swarm Forge program, the DIU MYSTIC DEPOT initiative, and DARPA's CLARA program, alongside SBIR engagements with the Army and Office of Naval Research. The company is also developing the Meridian platform, a two-tier energy-to-compute arbitrage architecture, in partnership with Forerunner Energy.
