Designed in at construction. Retrofitted only when you have to.

Specified by your builder during framing. Conduit, wiring, and sensor density are in the plans before drywall. The home ships with the Home Node commissioned.

It's a private server that replaces the role of a manufacturer's cloud. Your existing smart speakers, cameras, and locks talk to it. New devices speak Aethyr Wire Protocol natively.
Redundant storage, integrated UPS, and a service contract. Most failures repaired in place. Backups are encrypted and family-controlled.
Aethyr Home is a Matter controller. Legacy Alexa and Google integrations supported as bridges. HomeKit on the roadmap.
Yes, when you choose to. The Home Node can call cloud models for opted-in tasks, with scoped data. The default is local.
